ZK Series Diamond Compact Used as Cutting Tools

SouthDiamod PDC use self developed and produced high quality diamond micro powder as its raw material, and adopt unique cubic press HTHP synthesizing technology to sinter diamond and hard metal alloy into super hard composites at high temperature and pressure, which possess the features of firm combination between polycrystalline layer and hard metal alloy, together with D-D covalent bond conjunction in diamond particles. We divide PDC products into three types according to different applications: diamond compact SO series used as drills of petroleum and gas, diamond compact ZK series used as tool cutting and diamond compact SM series used as drills of mines.

ZK series of diamond compact is composed of carbide substrate and polycrystalline diamond layer. The diamond content of polycrystalline layer is more than 90%.The product has not only high hardness and wear resistance, but also good impact resistance, which make it ideal super-hard composite material that realize turning instead of grinding and cutting at high efficiency and low cost. Widely used in the field of processing copper,aluminum and other non-ferrous metals and their alloy materials ,wood, laminate flooring, graphite, rubber, plastic, ceramic and refractory material, also can be used in producing corbelled and oriented wear resistant parts of testing instruments.

According to different particle size of polycrystalline diamond layer, ZK series diamond compact have six granularity types to choose from, such as2μm、5μm、10μm、25μm、35μm、302. 2μm and 5μm ones used for super finishing machining, 10μm ones used for fine finishing, and 25μm、35μm and302 ones used for rough finishing.
